What do you guys use I have a Garcia 6600 but don't think that reel will handle heavy baits because when I tighten the mags it still backlashes and gets had to reel.

There are a lot of good choices what do you want to spend. For pounders I use a x heavy predator team with a shimano 500 Tranx HG.

Lets be honest, there is a very, very, very small percentage of 2 pounder chuckers.
