Location: Southwest Pa | 80# spiderwire stealth 65# spiderwire stealth for spring setups. Haven't failed me in 14yrs. I'm not brand loyal by any means but if it isn't broke don't fix it. Am I right? I'm sure everyone has their line and everyone will find what works for them. |

Location: Waukee, IA | I'm currently transitioning from 80lb Spider wire stealth to 80lb suffix 832. No real complaints about the spider wire other than I feel that it frays fast. |

Location: Mt. Zion, IL | sufix, tuffline, or stealth. I don't even allow people with power pro in the boat. I am not willing to witness heartache that close when someone catches a nice fish. Power pro is so noisy and rough. I really do not allow people to bring reels in the boat that have it on them. |

I watched a few baits sail in to abyss on backlashes with PP. I also know someone who lost a couple fish from line failures.
Another cortland vote for me. 80 or 100 lb depending on set up.
Do a search on here. This has been discussed a lot. |

Because abrasion from structure weakens line and backlashing heavy lures would snap 30lb like sewing thread. Muskie rods/reels/line isnt designed to fight fish, it's designed to take the abuse of casting half pound lures 2-3 thousand times per day |

I always tell people, "it's not for the fish, its for the $50 lure hanging off the end.". Lol the gentleman above me said it best, this is an abusive style of fishing... nuff said! |
