| Going to buy a lawn mower and digging out a garden. I figure I'll catch the same amount of fish I've caught on every other opener since... dirt. Only difference is this time if I get cold and wet I can just walk back in the house. |

Location: WI | The big chair in my family room. It'll 10 days since hernia surgery & I'm not going to risk my whole season by over doing it now. Come Memorial Day weekend I'll be casting. Good luck to all who venture out south of hwy 10. I'll bet JimJimJim throws a bronze perch Suick this weekend.

| Lost a small one guessing 30" or so and my boat partner had 1 slow lazy follow Saturday morning on Monona. It was the most action my boat has seen on opening day in 10 years. |

| We had 4 follows on Saturday. 2 low 40s and 2 mid 30s. One made a valiant effort to eat my glider, but failed. Today my wife got a 42.5 on an angry dragon, and one other lazy follow. Solid opening weekend overall. |

| We saw 3 and got a stocked 12 incher and a 26. Jim D. , we saw the same thing on the lake we were on, southwest end was warmer than the north shore. We need some warmth but still great to get out.

Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin | Caught a 34 and a 32 on Saturday twitching minnow baits. Lost a 40 just out of net range and moved 3 others. The best action was from 5:30am to 8:30 am. I got back out for the afternoon just before Moon rise and only saw 1 fish. that was the 32 incher I caught. Guess I can't complain after hearing all the story's Saturday from others who struggled. Tuff bite, had to take multiple casts in prime areas to get them to react. Covering water and running and gunning was not the ticket.
Sunday I cut down a giant dead Elm tree. Cold east winds made that decision an easy one. |

| Out of appx 50 guys fishing in the Milwaukee vs Quad County event on Pewaukee Saturday and half of Sunday, there were 5 fish caught (I think that was the final tally...4 for Milwaukee, 1 for Quad). Milwaukee retained the traveling trophy and bragging rights. Sounded like more guys had eaters Sunday than Saturday, quite a few lost fish reports from Sunday, 3 fish were caught Sunday vs 2 on Saturday. 3 fish in the 36-38 range, with a 30.5 on the low end and 43 for the big one. |
