I tried a new top water bait (at least new to me that is) this year with some very good results. I picked it up at the Chicago Muskie Show last year. I believe it is made by a company called WidowMaker (not sure.) The best description I can give you is to imagine a Jackpot on steroids. A little longer, a little larger in body diameter, and a little heavier. Anyone else tried this bait yet? Also gang, I came across an article in one of my 503 muskie publications that I get every month and it mentioned a top water bait by Slammer Tackle, is anyone familiar with this bait? Where can I see one? Buy one?

Thanks for any light you folks can shed, and I hope everyone is having a great season.

Try this link for Slammer Top water bait. Haven't used it, but may be what you have heard.

I'm not familiar with the Widowmaker topwater, but have seen his other baits.

The Slam'er Topwater lures are available at most retailers, Thorne's has most of them http://www.thornebros.com/muskie/baits/topwater/topwater_slammer.ht...

...as does Pastikas, Reeds and most everyone else on the web. Great baits, the Cyclone and Thunderhead are 2 of my favorite topwaters.

Slammer Topwater has a pretty good copy of a Snodlow. I sent him one of mine to look over, and he did the rest. Smaller, easier to handle, and runs very well.
