Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Rhinelander Muskie league starts at 5 PM, so Sue and I were on the water and ready to go at 4:50. We moved one fish, then nothing until 6, when a nice Rhinelander Muskie blasted her TR surface bait. She set the hook; TWICE, and the fish did what a muskie is supposed to. It jumped, ran, and fought off the net. We did manage to get her in the Frabill, registered, and added to Norm's 34.5 tonight moving us dangerously near to first place for the last night of League on Pelican next Tuesday. Sue's first legal was exactly 38". Talk about cool, she was literally shaking. It took her a half hour to settle down. She is now truly hooked on Muskie fishing, for sure! Theedz, this was the fish that chased down my Pacemaker off the first marker. I lost the other good one we saw on that durned thing. That's 8 in a row. bad luck, me thinks, but offset nicely by Sue's fish!!

Location: Oshkosh,WI | Way It Go Mrs. Worral! You did good. Now tell everyone how you caught it by fishing for crappies or walleyes or something like that. I never catch muskies when I fish for them, only when I fish for other fish.
Good job you two, it will be the first of many to come.
See you this weekend!

Location: Pelican Lake/Three Lakes Chain | Awesome job Sue, I don't know where us "men" on our team would be without our female team members help. Our team is living proof that muskies do not discriminate between sexes. Now that the seal is broken nail another one next week to keep us in the hunt. |

| Great to get an active summer fish as a first; congratulations!! The trembling shakes are part of it; only a liar would say that never happens.
Time is short! Gout out and fish hard! You still have the opportunity to do something I don't -- whatdyasay? Catch a muskie to equal or exceed your age!!!
Well done, friend. AJ |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | No worries on the boat keys, Ralph. She is a bit shy about cranking Foxy Lady up on the pad and making her scoot, something about " What the &@#%%#@%?? SLOW down." Or something like that. Thanks for the comments, everyone. Sue took a picture of the fish to work, and showed it to all her friends as if it was a new grandbaby. I am sure they all now think I have ruined poor Sue. Yup. |
