Anybody out there with any knowledge or experience in obtaining a replacement boat title in Minnesota? What documents or proof needed and approximate time frame it would take. Any info is appreciated.

Go to the DMV and they'll take care of it.

Thanks! ??Will they issue you a new title at the same time? What documents for proof of ownership are needed?

I showed them some old paperwork, but they can probably look up your info in the system. They have to process it and then send it to St. Paul. It'll take 4-8 weeks more then likely. Otherwise you can go to the St.Paul DNR office and they can handle it same day.

Print off application for duplicate watercraft title from DNR website and take it to the DMV, will need hull ID number and stuff like that. They'll mail you a new title pretty quick after processing.
