Location: Bagley,MN 56621 | can some Mad-Town locals give me directions to this lake on the MAd chain and also some cheap (micro-tel) type lodging close to the landing,just need a place to crash.
am going down sat afternoon and am unfamiliar with the area.

Location: Pewaukee, WI | best area is in city of monona...there is a quality inn, americinn and several others that are about a 15 min drive to either public launch....
we stayed in that area for a few tournys and works out good....

Won't get there until 8 or so sat nite, then gotta leave the water no later than 3 on sunday.
I have been trying to get ahold of my PMTT partner, but I think he croaked or fell off the face of the earth or both!! |

Location: Madison, WI | See map attachment. McFarland has a a decent boat launch. It will be on your right as you head out of town on 51. Since I live here, I am not sure about cheap lodging.

Location: Hayward WI | If you don't mind sleeping in your truck or in a tent, there is a county campground just north of the Babcock Park ramp and another on the NW side of the lake at Lake Farm Park. Babcock is right off of HWY 51 in McFarland, the Lake Farm site is not difficult to get to, just takes a few more turns. Both have elec and showers and are $17 a nite. I bit the bullet and booked at the Holiday Inn east, since that is tourney headquarters, it will be good to know my way around there in sept.
I didn't get the PMTT rate for this weekend, but will make things simple. |

Location: Madtown, WI | I know of several 44 and big fish coming out of waubesa lately....Both lakes are good...this time of year is usually hit or miss but the weather hasn't been nearly as warm so guys are getting them...I have been too busy and looking forward to Canada next week so I haven't been out...

Location: IL | I tend to get more fish just following on Wabesa than Monona. If I had to just fish one of the lakes it would be Monona. perch grandmas and marvs spinnerbaits are my baits 99% time. |

It takes about 20 minutes to go from Wabesa to Monona.
I fished Wabesa last Sat. afternoon, no fish from 1pm till 4:30 then 2 muskies 35"& 41" also 6 pike and 1 19" lm. Sunday fished all day 7:00am till dark on Menona right out of the box a 37" then a few pike a few lm & sm. At 3:00pm they moved and caught a 39" and located a school of pike. The fish stayed active for about 45 minutes then nothing till dark.
The weeds wer'nt to bad but that can change from day to day, Good luck
