| Dick's has these online for $60 in the 40x44 size. On the Frabill site the 40x44 size is $365. Am I missing something? Are these the same nets? I've never seen these in person. I want a tangle-free mesh, so for those guys that have these, are they tangle free, or a cheap nylon?

| It's a good net, but you absolutely have to replace the bag with something thicker. The tangles with this net are terrible and it splits fins. For that price though you could still come out ahead.
Idk about the $365, that should be more like $180 if I remember correctly @ cabelas |

| I'm thinking they come with two or three thicknesses of bag, 160,190 prices ring a bell for me. I spent 190 for mine has medium thickness of mesh the cheaper one wouldn't hold up to long and would make the fish hurt much more. But as above you can replace the bag. |

Location: MN | I ordered one of the 40x44 from Dick's and returned it to the Burnsville store. It's too big for me, but that's a different story. It's the same model number from Dick's and Frabill, so that seems odd they'd change the bag but keep the same model number. I have no idea though. |

Location: US | I ordered one in the 36x38 size. The bag that they come with is knotless and rubber coated, but as stated above it is extremely thin. If you get the 40x44 size, replace the bag with a big kahuna replacement. Those are the heavy knotless tangle free. |

Location: MN | So I'd like to learn more about nets and I've searched on here before, but what should one look for in a net? No matter where you get it, this net isn't an ideal? one? What size thickness should one look for? And what exactly happens in the net where it gets split fins? If I'm not on monster caliber waters, would this net work for smaller fish? |
