Location: MN | Hard to know for sure until you use it but it seems the design has the potential for the raised bumps in the throat of the gap to inhibit penetration. Unless that gap is a lot bigger than it looks like it might be on the bigger sizes |

| I know setting the hook to the tail on figure 8 fish sometimes the hook is in the corner of mouth using the whole bend to get the point through. May work, but I'm not going to lead the research. |
