Anyone have a pre-rigged 6"/8" model, and can comment on the size of the wire, and hook size? Interested for early season trib fishing.

On my 8" the wire is 12" long x .027" multi strand. Treble hook is prob a 1/0 or 2/0 as its just smaller than some 3/0s i have measuring .950" from one point to the next.

I have the 8inch, it came pre-rigged. Hooks are way too small, ended up losing quite a few fish using it right out of the package. Did some modifications to mine like run a 80lb floro leader through it with bigger hooks - I also swapped the single stinger hook out with another treble. All the fish I've caught on this bait have been on the back treble despite them grabbing it by the head? Hah don't know how that works, but definitely going to have to do some modifications to it if you want to up the hooking percentage. Best of luck! Fish seem to like the action.

I have several 16 inch trouts, i know that its a much bigger beast but i will say that the hookup rate is so bad that i wont be casting them until i get the line thru modifiers.
They existe for all size troutes so you could take a look at that.

I have never lost a fish and have landed ten fish on two 16" line thru trouts that I use. That is trolling and not casting however...

True, one the fish is on, there is little chance of it getting off, but the probleme is that the front treble is half burried in the body, hence a mediocre hook up rate when a fish strikes

I have not tried trolling mine. But casting I've lost most fish that hit it.. Was very frustrating to say the least.
