| Have the Ultrex and my only real complaint is at night the lights on the pedal are extremely bright(blinding). Didn't know if anyone had any solutions for a fix of this? Sorry if it's been asked before. Appreciate any help. |

| Minnkota's suggestion was to use masking tape over the lights. Seems a bit crude or ##@#$ rigged to me. Didn't know if there was a better/ cleaner way to improve a $2,700 trolling motor? |

| I use small pieces of electrical tape to partially cover the LEDs on the TMs I have owned. Works and barely noticeable on the black TMs. |

| Electrical tape both on pedal and motor head. Not that big of a deal. |

| What if you cut a piece of tint film to cover it to dim it out...or tape off just the light up part and use the translucent lens spray for headligths tail lights and tint the lights out on it and if you dont like that you just peel it off |

And if you make a tiny hole in the tape, you can still see if it's on or off, yet greatly reduce the amount of light. |

fish during the day?
I wear my sunglasses at night, so I can, so I can, see the light that's right before my eyes. |

Location: Not where I want to be! | I've used electrical tape for years on all the minn kotas I've owned. Heat up the head of a stick pin and melt a hole in the tape. You need 4 hands to do this but it works. Then place tape over the center of all the lights that are giving you a problem.. Works great. |

Location: Kodiak, AK | I did the tape thing, but it kept coming off. So I ended up masking it off and doing a quick dusting of spray paint over it. I can still see them during the day, but it cuts down the glare at night. |
