Location: MN | I have a little list of lures I want to check out while there, but also curious about sunglasses. Anyone know anything about J and K sunglasses? Also, with the cleaning of the reels, recommended to get the line off beforehand, right?
I'll probably sign up for TC Muskies, Inc while I'm there too. |

I don't know why, but I sure am glad. I would much rather go in March than April. |

| The reason it's a month early this year is because there is an opening in the Concordia athletic schedule so they won't need the building during that period so the expo grabbed that chance, usually nothing's open at the college in March and may not be next year 2018.
People like having the expo in march and have said so,,personally I like it better in April because I remember all the blizzards the show got hit with during March causing a lot of people outside metro to have to miss the show, But it doesn't look like that's a problem this year

| Just have to seize the moment,,sometimes Reeds and thrones go at it trying to out deal each other then blue ribbon gets into it,,I remember just recently the buy one get one free on bulldogs, medusas and cowgirls in good colors too, I loaded up has did everybody else it was a frenzy till they were all gone, this is the last musky show of the year and vendors sometimes want to unload things.
you also get the special show colors from the bait makers too you don't see at stores.

Location: North St. Paul, MN | For the first time I am actually going with a few bucks and no idea what to buy = impulse buy! Bringing the daughter either Friday or Sunday for some bucktail making and dawg painting. This will be five years for us. We always get subway sandwiches, chips and sit in the stands and eat during one of the speakers. She genuinely looks forward to it every year. We'll be speaking to Mike Keyes, as he's always great with kids! Hoping Christian Laettner is there to sign my girl's Duke sweatshirt (Huge Duke household!-Go Dukies!)
I'll be working the North Metro Muskies Inc. booth on Saturday. Stop by, sign up to join, and check out the release tools and some not-so-great release photos of what happens to fish when they're not handled properly.
Saturday night will be O'Gara's. Can't wait! Selling a bunch of baits that I posted pictures of on the other thread. Got some freebies for kids.
Overall, this is one of my favorite weekends of the year. It's a blast that I have the tradition with my daughter. Started a new Saturday morning tradition last year with some friends, and O'Gara's has been a thing for me, dad, and father in-law the past 8 years.
Good luck to all, have fun, and say hey Saturday night - I'll be wearing the big sign that says, MUSKYROLLER. (Not really, but we should identify ourselves with name tags or something. Be good to finally put faces to monikers.) |

| I am pumped it's in March. In years past I've had to make the decision to get out for the trout opener, or head to north shore if the steelhead are running, or going to the expo. Often times actually fishing won over talking about fishing. Now we have better winter trout fishing opportunities so I'm not as much of a spaz about getting on the water this year, but still like that it's earlier.
Definitely getting an Abu and a Shimano cleaned, or rather cleaning under adult supervision ;). Hoping there are some good deals on stuff and have my eye on a Revolution. Anyone know what they're running for from previous shows? |

I bought 3 in Wasua, They're $30 for the smallest size and a few bucks more for each size up. It was ~$98 for my three, one of each size. |
