| Just picked up a 2005 Ranger 621. I know I read somewhere the rod tubes have caps that can be removed so that rods longer than 8' can be stored in there. Anyone have info on how to do it? | |

| Take off the plastic cover/bow plate where you'd mount the bow mount locator. once thats off you'll see the tips of the rod tubes. grab a hacksaw or sawzall and cut the tips of the rod tubes off. b careful, don't cut any wires! gives you another 6-8 inches of room | |
