| Anyone use All Star Big Game rods? What do you think?
I was looking to upgrade one of my rods to either an All Star or a St. Croix. I was thinking about going with the All Star 8'6" X-Heavy for big bucktails and cranks this fall, what do you guys think of this rod?

Location: Thief River Falls MN | I like mine alot, have all three X heavy- 7'6", 8' & 8'6". Plenty of backbone for the big stuff. Can't go wrong with the either the All Stars or the St. Croix's in my opinion.

Location: Oshawa, Ontario | I own about eight or nine top quality muskie rods, one of which is an All Star and it is my favourite. Light as a feather with loads of backbone and very comfortable and versatile. Goa ahead and make the purchase, you won't be sorry.

Location: NeverNever Lake | Let me know if you can find a finer rod in AllStar's price range, I'll get me one. I got a 7'6" ex-heavy and an 8' ex-heavy on the way. They are extremely light weight, which means less fatigue over the long haul |

Location: Eau Claire, WI | I have an 8' All Star X-Heavy and couldn't be happier with it. It is light, plenty of backbone and seems to handle just about any lure I throw just fine. Best part is the price! I dare you to find me a nicer rod in that price range. |

Works great for bucktails and gliders. |

| I like my All-Star's. I have an 8' XH, and a 6'3" XH. I will be getting more in the future. They are lighter than the St. Croix's I have handled at the same length.

Location: Watertown MN | I have strickly been buying all-stars for 2 years, and really like these rods for their price range. I have the 6'10" XHeavy, 7'6" heavy, and 7'6" X-heavy, and these three rods definitely cover all the baits you might want to throw. There customer service has been excellent when I broke a reel seet.
