| Tempted to use one of those in the largest size.
Anyone tried it?
How fast does it sink and does anyone have a picture of it next to a pounder bulldawg? |

Location: Detroit River | Musky Tackle Online has them in stock in all 3 sizes. I like the action on them but I'm not a fan of the hook system on it though you'll probably lose fewer fish with that set-up. |

I know the Musky Shop has been waiting for them to arrive since last summer.
Savage gear told me Musky Shop would have them at the beginning of September. I know they have some now as Pete said, but still not all the colors. Sounds like some places will be getting them in March now...that's a far cry from September! I find Savage Gear really promotes a lure and then says it will be available in two months when the reality is more like 8 months!! Thumbs down to Savage Gear for hyping lures and not being able to deliver any where near when they say they are! |

| Ah yes, savage gear has a long sad history of designing and marketing lures that look really cool and then failling miserably when it comes to producing enought of them to satisfy the demand. The same thing happens every year in europe.
But i will say that my current favorit lures include the 16 inch line thru trout so i will keep buying from them. |

Location: Sakatchewan,Canada | I really like the 16" line thru trout as well, it was late getting here as usual but not as late as the burbot! The burbot sets the record for longest wait of any Savage Gear product!(and that's saying something...) |

| Casting, really eazy when your 19, 6 feet tall and have the right equipement.
I think the reason the burbot took so long is that they decided to focus on getting the rat and the duck out first, so the burbot took the back seat.
Something similar happened when they first realised the line thru pike and line thru trout in europe, the pike took much longer than the trout to show up in the shops. |

Looks like they only have magic motor oil in the big one... |

Location: Apparently where the Muskie aren't | I know this isn't the topic but do muskie even eat eelpout? I know if they are hungry they will eat whatever is in font of them and I like the burbot lure. I just wonder just how much muskie eat eelpout because of how deep the eelpout are in lakes. I don't fish lakes with eelpout so what do i know. |

| We got the last two in the country!!! At the west bend show Sunday. R&H had them and Savage had a booth they told us those were the last two magnums anywhere right now.
We got the magnums and I have to say they look way cool!!! Tempted to cut off tail, boil and dip in butter. Haven't thrown it yet but it weighs or carrys it's weight more evenly then a pounder not has concentrated. Shouldn't be too stressful to throw. Has two options for hooks,on a harness or also come with a sleeve for line through.
$22.15 at the show price. |

Can you post a picture of the magnum size compared to a pounder bulldawg? |

Location: Sakatchewan,Canada | I'm assuming you have the walleye color which looks like burbot. That is all Musky Shop got and they have one put away for me. Its the Firetiger and Golden Ambulance that STILL haven't shown up from savage gear in the largest size. Those guys(Savage Gear) are just ridiculous for not getting their hyped product out within 6 months of when they say they are! |

Location: Sakatchewan,Canada | Well Muskyshop got the colours of the 50cm 3D Burbot I was waiting for on Feb 16th. Savage gear had intially said Sept 1st. What a unbelievable difference in the time Savage Gear said they would be here and the time they actually showed up!! Typical for Savage Gear however... |

Location: Sakatchewan,Canada | The 50cm 3D Burbot is about 1" longer than a Pounder and according to my scale an ounce lighter. Tried posting a pic with a Pounder and the 50cm Burbot off my iPhone but it says the attachment is too big... |
