Yes, I know there is probably other threads on these lures but I haven't found what I was looking for on them. Obviously everywhere is sold out of lake x lures right now, every model. Do you guys know if they will become easier to find in a month or so? I really like these baits but I don't like them so much that I'm going to pay $80 or more on ebay. I'm sure that some of you are going to offer to sell me yours and I appreciate that, but I'm just the type of person that likes to go physically pick something up and check it out before I buy it. Thanks!

The stores get them in whenever they can, they will all likely tell you they are uncertain on ETA's. They will be sold out the first couple days. Pre-order is your best bet if you can. Just hard to say when you will get one it could be months. They are just another lure, FYI. I have several and didn't do much with mine.

Be patient, it's January. These are great baits but don't get caught up in the hype. From what I have heard they will be much more available this year.

Lake x was at southern Wisconsin musky expo this past weekend. They had a lot for sale in all sizes. I think they raised the price on them also. $50 for a cannonball jr and I think a fat bastard was $39

Think they increased price by $5 on all models. Bought a cbjr at muskyshop a month or so ago and the regular not nls was $45. They use to be $40

Don't buy any on ebay, they are producing a lot more of them this year. I went to the show on Saturday at 4 pm and they still had hundreds of baits still on the rack (more than half of them were fat bastards). I think they still have the Wausau and Minnesota shows left, and I am sure that what remains will go out to the retailers. You should be able to get them for retail before the season starts. If you are worried, find someone who is attending one of the shows and have them buy you what you want. I bought 4 for a friend that wasn't able to go to any of the shows this year. He got every color that he asked for.

Thanks everyone, I knew they were hard to get last year. And I'm defiantly not paying the eBay price. It's sounds like they will be easier to get this year.

I will be going to three more expos,,if you don't find one let me know and I can grab one for you for show price plus a couple bucks for shipping
At the Chicago show Thrones had the fat bastards for $31,,however if you wanted the northern lights colors with reflective tape you had to go to the lake X booth for $39.

Happy hooker, thanks so much for the offer. I will get back to you on that. I may or may not make it up to the Milwaukee show, I still am not sure of my plans for next weekends.

They dont fit in the standard slots in boxes,,that's the reason one very well known musky guy dosent use them.

Big Mama Twisted Sist'r - CBJr's are great baits. These twisted sist'rs sound almost identical and have a much more durable paint job. I'd take a look at them

About ebay - if you win something off ebay then technically you were willing to pay more than anyone else for that item. Think about it
