Location: Algonquin, ILL | Just heard on the news that Bob Hope has passed away at the age of 100, If the world had more people like him this would be a much better place.

Location: So. Illinois | Today is indeed a sad day after loosing one of the greatest human beings the ever graced this earth. I have a special place in my heart for Mr. Bob Hope knowing of the outstanding, unselfish support he gave to the Men and Women of our Armed Forces over his many decades of service to our country. If our young men and women need a role model, they should look to Mr. Hope instead of some overpaid self promoting professional athlete. Thanks for the memories Mr. Hope. Go with God and rest in peace.

| Same as above; never got to see him, but some buddies did, and he sure could make one feel better for sure. One thing for sure, he'll always be remembered most for what he did for the troops, and salutes for those who still sacrifice their time to continue in his footsteps... |

| It's kinda funny, most that deserve to be called great americans were born in England, including Sir Hope. |
