| Have a Toro 60S that I've used for saltwater fishing but now will use it for a Muskie reel when I travel to the Midwest for the spring and summer. The reel is great and I love it. Easy to cast heavy lures and bring in big fish. Anybody have any tips to upgrade the reel or should I just leave it as is. Reg in SoCal |

| I'm going to leave it for now. After every saltwater or freshwater trip it gets a rinse and cleaning. I'm a real stickler to this with all my gear. Just thought if it was worth getting it closer to a Toro Beast in specs.

Location: mercer wi | I replaced to bushing under the spool tension cap with a bearing ( spool bearing ). Cost was like $10. It was noticeable smoother and is more rigid for the spool shaft to ride on. Also planing on changing out the 2 pawl bushing for bearings eventually. Then my 60s will have the same bearings as a beast. |

| Great idea Upnortdave. I'm going to look into adding the three bearings. Reg in SoCal |

| Upnortdave, do you happen to have the part numbers for those bearings? I can't find a schematic for a Revo T2 BST50 anywhere. |

Location: mercer wi | I don't have part #. I go through mat reel repair out of eagle river. He usually has all bearings in stock. I just stop by and get bearings. The spool bearing is easy replace. Take cap off, little spring wire keeper that needs to be removed with tiny flat screw driver. Keep finger over hole and be careful not to lose wire. Tap out bushing. Replace with bearing, replace wire keeper and oil. Pretty easy. Just be careful not to lose wire.
I haven't looked at pawl bearings yet but will take reel to mats to show me how to do it. Mat is a awesome guy to deal with. Stop at his booths at the musky shows. |

| I sent Abu Garcia a quick e-mail and they got back to me right away with the part numbers. The spool ball bearing is 1128194 and the worm shaft bearings are 1132853. Making a smooth reel even smoother, yes please! |
