Yacht club and la petite dragon are both great places to stay and run by good people. They are also located in a minute walking distance from one another. Not sure what the crime free reference is about but la petite did build a fence along the property line so if there was an issue in the past that i have not heard of from them or anyone i know who stays there alot, there would not be now. Again, both places great, good prices.

There's nothing terribly wrong with the dragon...but "great " is certainly not a word I would be throwing around. It's a clean, dated and odd smelling motel close to a boat ramp with a parking lot the size of a WI driveway

The parkimg at the dragon can be tight when it is full. Having said that they bend over backwards getting everyone in place. They don't leave anyone hanging and that includes if you get there on a friday at 3am. Beds are comfy and it is very reasonable. Again like both places and both are worthy.
