| After an unfortunate trolling accident, I'm currently in the market for a new musky reel. I previously had a NaCL 60HS and really liked it, and would prefer to stay with low profile reels. I'm leaning towards a Lexa, either 300 or 400, but am open to suggestions. I only get to musky fish for a week or two a year, so my budget needs to stay around $250. I mainly fish jr double cowgirls, top raiders, and depth raiders. Any guidance on reels would be much appreciated. |

| Toro S 60. 9s are easy and better line pickup than the Lexa in the power model. You can find them under $200. |

| Go Toro S or Lexa 400 IMO got both love both can grab either under $200 online...The Lexa 400HSP is a tank and picks up almost 38IPT and the Toro S is just a nice sweet low profile reel...would come down to what size reel I was after between the two |

| No the Lexa 400 is good bit bigger than the Revo the Lexa isnt tranx size but def bigger than Toro for sure |

| The Revo Toro S60 is very close to the same size and shape as the Lexa 400.
The Revo Toro NaCl is a different shape than the Lexa 400 - wider and shorter.
You sure you're referencing the correct reel there 25? Don't give this guy bad info |

Location: Madison, WI | I'd also agree with 25, I have an S60, NACL 60, and a Lexa 400 and the Lexa is definitely bigger. Yes the S and NACL are different shapes but not a ton |

Ironic, cause calling the S and Lexa 400 "very close in size" is kinda bad info, in my opinion.
The Lexa 400 is kind of a big reel, noticeably larger then the more sleek S. I have or have had both.
The S can be had on eBay for under 200 from several retailers.
My opinion is pony up and get a Beast 60 you will love it, you can also find them for like 285ish on eBay. The 60 S is a good solid option as well.

| Curious about the Komodo SS too; has anyone got their hands on one of these? I'm used to the Toro S61 and want to now how the komodo compares in size/performance, and for palming. |
