| I did pull 10's with it but I have 2 other beasts to pull tens with much easier. 8's were easy, would be awesome for jerk baits and ripping crank baits |

Location: St. Lawrence River | Buy it. I don't have a rocket but I have both Beasts and S's and they are sweet. If the durability of the Rocket matches that of the Beast, it will be a nice reel. |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | The Rocket will be fine for tails under 10. We have several, and my favorite rig for tails and spinnerbaits these days is the Rocket strapped to a TI 8'6" MH. You can get a MH and a XH for what a comparable rod may cost from some other builders.

Yea it definitely can. I don't throw a ton of 10s anymore - but the times I have, the HS does the job. Use the power handle for sure.
Now the 4.9:1, that makes 10s feel like butter. |

Location: mercer wi | If it an all around reel to throw eveeything, I'd get the hs. If you plan on throwing strictly 10 blades and hard pulling straight retrieve lures get the 4.9 gear. If max line pickup is what you need, get the rocket. Heres another wrench. I'm a big fan of the 60s ( the white reel ). Perfect mid of the road reel. |

Location: deep in the slop | I picked up the S60 and Beast HS last year. S60 pulls 10's easy. Not all 10's are equal, some pull much harder than others. With that said, the un-balanced power handle which came with the Beast HS made pulling 10's a breeze. The dual paddle is a little tougher, great handle but not as much to hold on to. |
