I've read into the new powerdrive trolling motor and see a slew of updates and additions. Compared to the previous generation V2 model whose foot pedal has given me nothing but grief in 8 years, the most noticeable refinement appears to be a newly redesigned foot pedal that's water proof and sealed and finally (hopefully) protects that formerly exposed circuit board and buttons underneath.

Anyone running this new Powerdrive yet? Looking for feedback, especially on the foot pedal.

This may be a pipe dream but anyone know whether this few foot pedal is compatible with V2 powerdrive models? Does it use the same rounded plug? I ask because the V2, besides is problematic pedal, is still a very good and durable trolling motor for me. Would love to know if this new version pedal is sold separately and can be compatible with the V2?

The new foot pedal will be compatible with V2 versions of Powerdrive.

Was feeling lazy to call yesterday Brad.

With that link posted, my questions have been answered! Best news ever. Seen a few selling thru dealers online for $100. I'll give it a try and hope to have positive feedback in May. Thanks!
