| Hey all,
Stopped by to check things at the lake house on Saturday...
Here's the conditions (that have probably changed after all the snow over the weekend)
Ice: Bays and sheltered areas have surface ice. Main part of the lake was still open and navigable.
Launches:
Public launch on the Backwaters is iced over as is the backwaters themselves.
Socks Marina was open and clear of ice. The folks at Socks reported several die-hard musky guys had launched over the previous couple days.
Water Temps: Friggin' Cold. I'd guess in the upper 30's at best. If you are brave enough to try it, wear your floatation gear...
HTH,
RandalB

| They were actually lined up in military formations with their heads out of the water and mouths open waiting for you to throw lures into them. Hundreds of them.. Never seen anything like it.. | |
