| Can't wait to hear more and get one in hand to try it out. I'm in the market for a new reel, just trying hard not to jump the gun and try a bunch out before I buy the first cool thing I get my hands on. Is it April yet? |

| Looks pretty awesome, hopefully they are as tough as the 500 size!
The 400 looks to be the perfect replacement for my Lexa 400s that didn't hold up so well... |

Location: oswego, il | No low gear ratio but i think with the popularity of the 500 size these will be a hot sell. We will be seeing some good deals on the HS 500 and some other reels in the BST forum soon. |

Location: MN | Interesting that Shimano not mentioning them or showing them on their own web site yet. Perhaps they won't until they are actually available. Wonder why they allowed this particular re-seller to promo first. |

Location: MN | A great reel I'm sure but that line capacity is pretty low on the 300 version. |

Location: Northern Wisconsin | Shimano has done that in the past. 5-6 years ago they redid the Chronarch series.. all they did was paint the cheaper curado a different color and added a ball bearing or two and called it the Chronarch. |

| Far cry from the 500, but still should be a sweet new lefty option. That 401 7.6:1 should be a nice rubber reel. |
