Why I like it in the Wisconsin Northwoods. I spent the last two days in the cities, and the traffic is NUTZ. You St. Paul/Minneapolis Muskie anglers are TOUGH dudes to drive through this stuff to get to your Metro fish.My hat is definitely off to you!! Red Lobster is almost worth it, though.

As an interesting note---Where you from? Post the city and state, unregistered are encouraged too.

Me?

In the heart of MPLS. It gets old to fish every lake with other boats in a spot that gets fished every day. Even secondary spots get hit hard. Need to move or at least get a summer cabin up north somewhere.

Boulder, Colorado-foothills of the Rocky Mountains!

No we don't have anything near the musky action of the northwoods. This is where the guys fling their $700, 9 ft. rods in the wind and get excited when they land a six inch Colorado Carp (trout). Why, I'm not exactly sure. They don't even save them for bait, go figure. Our deer are much bigger than yours though!!

I live right here in the NW suburbs of Chicago, so my home lake is The Fox Chain of Lakes. I spend more time on Blarney Island drinking and listening to bands than I do fishing there though!

However, I fish up near Hayward WI much more, especially LCO, Grindstone, and The Chip.

In addition I fish all over Ontario and Quebec, and each year I try to explore some new waters. This year it will be IN and MN!

My family and I live and make our money for the next fishing trip in Combined Locks, Wi (near Appleton). I am an Electric Motor Mechanic but I spend most of my time rebuilding pumps and gearboxes.

My dad and I own a small off the water cabin about a mile from Rollie & Helen's. So that is where I spend most of my Musky season when I'm not working.
