Well the storm the other night nocked down a tree branch right on top of my baby. I have a dent in the top of the rail and it also dented the side from the impact.
Does anyone know of someone who works on aluminum boats?
I live in the south suburbs of Chicago.

Thanks!!!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear, Ralph. Here's a link for boat dealers in your area, you can check with them:
http://www.bassboatcentral.com/dealers11.htm

Also, you might post on www.iboats.com on their message board and see what you come up with, it is pretty busy. Hope you get back on the water soon. m

Ralphie:

Why not wait until the end of the season and then just have Crestliner pick it up from a local dealer and fix it back at their shop?

If the metal isn't creased, it will repair easily. You can actually use a plunger type dent puller if the dents are in a larger panel. May work until it can go in for tender loving repair at the Factory.

Dents are no excuse to stop fishing, holes are a different story. I once saw a guy in a aluminum john boat that looked like it was in a car accident. I was impressed, he was still fishing and probably caught more. I just kept my distance at the boat landing. You're not worried about image are you? I hope it wrks out for you. Capt Bigfish
