Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Let's go get some of those silver fish on the big pond! I think I have her ready to go. 8 rod holders, Cannnon Downriggers, GPS, wide angle sonar, 9.9 mercury 4 stroke with a Panther lift, and a livewell that can be iced instead of filled with water. I have new Daiwa Linecounter reels, downrigger rods, and a few of those clips. I need to get an inventory of what I am missing so I can hit Fleet Farm this week and stock up!! I have some Slammer spoons, and a bunch of cranks. A few small spoons, too. What do I need?

Location: On the X that marks the mucky spot | I second Proking spoons! Last year the Mag's were worth their weight in gold. Black/Green tape got me my biggest @ 37#'s. Also good would be the silver/green as a good 2nd. Thornes has (had) a supply of them, but I haven't checked it in a while.

| Stever,
Looks good! I need to stock up on some spoons, dodgers, flies, and Dipsey's. Hoping to get some Slammer spoons, but will get some Pro Kings on Treats' advice. Also, my neighbor showed me a new stacker clip and release from Scotty's. Looks like it should be the ticket.
Mike, I think, weather permitting, we should shoot for the WolfPack to go Saturday morning, Aug 2nd. Jason is coming down to go with Bill, and I'm trying to get Cory to come from MadTown. I would like to get out for a shakedown before that, so I may put things together and haul the boat to work, and do an evening cruise. Hopefully, I can get my neighbor, Doug to go. It's reel screaming time!!

Location: Madtown, WI | Well right now it looks like I will be going! Mr. smith is gracious enough to lend me some stuff and I will fake it from there. My buddy has just been BUGGING me to take him after last years trip....SO I think I will dunk the Tuffy in the big pond! Hope we have good weather!
Can you say singing drags!

| Worral....
Nice set up!
One thing you might have problem with is your fish on rod holders(I think from the photo that is what you have). I have heard they dont have the stength to hold a king ripping at the Mach III. You might have to really have your drags backed off loose.
Oh...make sure you have all the coast guard equiptment too....like a 100ft rope, flare kit...all that STUFF. A great lakes stamp might help too.
Bill's spoons rocked last year and the Pro Kings. Doggers and flys with 00 licence chrome plates on pearl white howie flys were the best....but that was last year. Run the doggers/flys at 1.5mph and spoons at 2.5 to 3.5mph. Only run one or the other on all the rods.....otherwise a mess will soon follow.
I hope you score out there this year!

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Fish On is working with us to develop a tougher holder. These have a stainless bolt running through the shaft so it CAN'T break, developed for Stripers, Muskies, and Kings. Already have the entire Great Lakes setup, fished on bay of green bay with Zach a few weeks ago.
