Location: Racine, Wi | I decided to try a little mid day trolling on Saturday at Pewaukee. Everyone says that the big ones go at mid day. I got on the water at 10 and fished to 2. Marked some fish, alas none boated. Almost got a guy on a tube, when his wife drove him between my boat trolling, and an achored boat with walleye guys. On the way back to the launch, I noticed that every pier was full of speed boats with at least 20 people in each. They would sit there for 20 minutes while the trailor man went to pick up, or park the truck. I did finally get a spot on the pier, and parked the boat. ( I was fishing solo). I came back, put the boat on the trailor in 30 seconds and was gone. A boater standing on the pier says to me, "Why is it that fisherman always get their boats in and out of the water so fast?". I know the reason, but hopefully 1 person learned a tip or two on how not to do it. Down with the pleasure boaters!!!!
Good lungen,

All you have to do is move up here by me (or more north for that matter) where you only get a cluster !@#% launch once in a while.....like me and my buddy on the Eagle River Chain a month or so ago

Location: Racine, Wi | Thanks for the encouragement Mike. I will keep that in consideration. I am getting closer and closer each day. Right now is one of those moments. Once I get married, it may be an option. How'd you guys do on LOTW. E-mail me. I also have a couple of day trips up your way this fall I'll be taking. I'll fill you in on the details.

Location: oswego, il | There definitely needs to be a hunting season for pleasureboaters. I watched a guy two years ago wreck his trailer when he could not load his mastercraft and decided to ram it on the trailer. I have seen some lakes rules with no wake except the hours of 1 to 4pm. I like this idea. |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Sponge, Depends on who you marry. The Marina on Wabigoon at which I used to register my fish, buy my gas, and buy candy and ice cream for my boys had a sign: IF THIS IS TOURIST SEASON, WHY ARE WE NOT ALLOWED TO SHOOT THEM? Hannah, old girl, I do miss you.Wabigoon hasn't bee the same since you passed on...:( |

| How true Stever! One must recon and probe the bride to be and find weaknesses' in their defensive postures in relation to outdoor activities, and then develope a course of action. One would also be wise to prepare a plan B, C, D, and so on to include the remaining letters of the alphabet, and to cover their tracks upon leaving; never approach nor leave the same way you entered/exited, and always travel in a staggered trail formation. Enter the commitment well armed, and you should do fine!:O |

Location: Racine, Wi | The soon to be bride should work out ok. Here are the reasons:
1. Her parents own a resort on the Flambeau Chain in Lac du Flambeau.
2. She likes to fish, and lets me do plenty of it. (she knows the consequenses) The only thing is, she is afraid of the musky. But she is great for catching bass for using on quick-strike rigs.
3. Pre nup agreement. Joel will be able to fish at least 60 hours a week, as long as his hooks are sharpened, and he remembers his bloody mary.
Not too bad of a partner. |
