Location: North East PA , 20 mins from Chautauqua | I fish mostly half days on Sundays ,normally 6:00 AM till around noon . Most times we try to split up our day with a casting and trolling . My question is should I troll first thing in the AM or should I start the day casting ? I've been told that the bigger fish are out on the edge or still in open water from there night feeding in the very early hours of the day and then pile into the weeds as the sun gets higher ? Any truth to that ?

Location: oswego, il | We used to cast first, then troll when we concieved that things had slowed down. If we can troll, we do just that, right off the bat. It's put alot more fish in the boat for us too. |
