I am going under the knife tomorrow to repair a herniated disc, it is the new high tech surgery so I will only be out of action for a few weeks. I will let everyone know later tomorrow how everything went.

Good luck!!!
May your recovery be quick, your sponge baths given by blonde nurses be long, and may the morphine be nice and sweet.

The best of luck to you man. Before you know it, you will be back on the water. Oh, and by the way, seeing your quote after your signature Derek reminds of something. Although, you may be right about the Scots not getting the joke yet, there is more.

Do you know why all bagpipers are always marching?????

(They are trying to get away from the sound of pipes!)

All the best to ya!

In a few weeks if anyone is looking for a boat partner let me know, I wan't to get out as soon as I can without having to lug my boat around.

Gang,

I just got home from the surgery, still have a good buzz going from the Morphine and Versed. This is the first time in 3 months I don't have pain shooting down my left leg. I remember a few things during the surgery like him chiseling bone from my vertabrae, and him asking me some questions. It's absolutely amazing that I had a four hour major back surgery and I'm home to type this message. Thanks for all your support.
