I thought I remebered seeing a post on MF about some mods that may make the 3D go shallower, but I cannot find it anywhere. Even in the search mode. Anybody else remember this thread?

That was me.....you can try it if you want and if you cut about 1/3 of it off it may work for you. Pretty easy to screw one up and then you've wasted a $20 bait.

I think Matt and the guys at ERC are going to come out with this in the future.

I shaved a few lips on the TripleD. You lose some "thump" but it still kicks around OK. Personally, I think you are better off leaving it alone and altering your retrieve to work it shallower.

If you desire a shallow version... I'd recommend using a different lure while you wait for ERC to make one for you. That way you don't run the risk of "killing" a lure two.
