Location: Orland Park | Well, I finally know what a bad cylinder/piston looks like. Guy that tore it down said this was the result of BAD GAS. Unbelievable.

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Wow, that one is TOAST! Bad fuel, especially with the alcohol now blended that causes water in the gas much more than before, is a real problem. I use the BP Amoco fuel only if it reads pure unleaded on the pump. I'm not certain that is an iron clad guarantee, either. |

Thanks for posting, gives the rest of us who run the big motors some more information. Like Steve I try to run only high octaine non-blended fuels but it's no guarantee against getting a bad tankfull....
