I'm sure at least a couple mornings, it will be foggy that 1st foot! Also, don't let your partners sunburn the crap out of themselves this year. I'd hate to see them leave you too! hehehehe

Have a great time, and stay away from that pig I marked for you last year!

My buddy just got back from there on tues.He said that the water was 4' low with a bad bloom. He could not see 6" in the water. He also says that there where floating weeds everyway!! could never get a full cast in half of the time. These two guy's saved and planed for this trip along time. They ended up trailering back to WI two days early to fish there home waters.good luck

Just got back from LOTW and water is down 4 ft.A lot of boats are hitting rocks. We had a major cold front come thru and dropped from 86 to 60's the whole week with wind. The algae bloom is bad,but you can hunt and find clear water. We caught 11 fish with my wife getting 7.The largest 2 were 49 and 44.She kicked my butt again. We downsized to rattle traps and candy spins to get the fish to hit. Also lost several large fish,o well thats fishing. Can't wait till 1st week of Aug. for next trip.

Just got back from another long weekend on LOTW. Had a fair amount of luck and caught 9 'skis. Talking w/others it seems that the fishing is quite good right now. I attached the biggest that my partner Dusty caught. I ended up losing the biggest fish I had on in my life ...

Bloom is there in spots but you don't have to look to hard to find clean water ... I think the bloom affects the fishermen more than it does the fish anyway. Just have to adjust to it ... I can't imagine ever wanting to leave that lake early or alter my trip because of it.

Hey! I know that spot, I've fished it many times. It's that island with the rocks and the pine trees on it, Right? I just knew it! LOL!

Seriously, Beautiful fish.
