If there's deposit money coming back, I was in the same cabin as Al. If there's a warrant involved, or a paternity suit, I wasn't anywhere near the place.

Actually, it was called Cellar Dust! And only I know what it is, but the Maniac swore me to secrecy, so you'll just have to get some from him!

Shady- I'm afraid Shep has it correctly, its "cellar dust". Ranger is probably trying to invade the market with his Iron Mountain  "Attic Dust" . If you saw Ranger's attic you would be petrified. It's reminiscent of a medieval torture chamber. Actually I think it's his secret playroom, his son informed me that he and his sister hear strange noises when mom & dad are in the attic, and sometimes even when dad's up there alone! You certainly wouldn't want to eat anything that originated in his attic.  Besides it probably has such a high iron content that it will throw your compass n' GPS off track.

Should "Cellar Dust" become the standard steak seasoning for MF outings?  Mmmmmmmmmm, mmmmmmmmmmm. I can still taste those New York Strip's we had at Dogtooth this year (two nights).  Divulging the secret of cellar dust is synonomous to giving someone the GPS coord's to lake X. I'm going to have to think about this for a bit.  As you can see Shep is already trying to finagle his way into the limelight by claiming advanced knowledge about the secret origins of cellar dust.

Hey Al:

How did you wind up the week at Crow and Dogtooth? My son said he thought you had caught a muskie on Crow. It was good to see you and thanks again for the lures. Muskies have been real active. I caught 4 today...the largest 43". No hogs but lots of fun, especially when you are by yourself. Take care.
