Hey all - up here in southwestern Ontario, my options for musky lures are limited. I have a Canadian online supplier that I normally deal with. I would love to get into WTD musky lures as I've had tons of success bass fishing with spooks.
The only WTD lures that the supplier has are Big Mamma original and bubba's. Has anyone had experience with either of these? Any feedback would be much appreciated. The original is 7.5'' and 3oz, and the bubba is 6'', 3.3oz. Any advantage to the bigger or smaller lengths?
Also, are WTD lures considered to be an early to mid season lure? Has anyone had success using them in the fall?
Thanks all

The original gets my vote its 8" long and 3.8 oz.. based on the two choices you listed. I think it has a good action... lots of big fish have been taken on it. Weagles are great too. I've gotten to the point where I will toss a Hawg Wobbler over any of these baits most of the time.

The originals a great bait. I have not used the Bubba. Yes the Weagle is a great WTD but the Big Mama catches lots of fish too... and some big ones... Hammernick caught this 57 4 or 5 years ago on a Big Mama WTD....
