| for which fish do you promote C&R? I put every fish back in the water, nevermind the size. This means also the hammerhandles, how else can they grow to 45"? | |

| Divani,
I agree Catch & Release is what has made most fisheries better today. That is why I run Catch & Release Only Charters for Muskies here on the Niagara River,a natural reproduction fishery.Over the years many Big One's have been put back to swim back home from my boat, last year we watched a 54",50 lber tail kick on her way down. | I catch release on most species, except walleyes which I keep a few now and then for shorelunch(small eaters). I really push catch and release to my clients in which a good majority understand the concept, there have been a few complainers but hey they only get one chance at fishing with me with that attitude, next time they book it will be explained no complants or no day on the lake with me.
They have to understand that I would be cutting my own throat if you where to keep every fish.So please lets catch and release so that our future wil be full of fish.
