picked up a plastic lebouef creeper with the painted on eyes. im told this is the lighter plastic version as indicated by the painted eyes. it is about 3 3/4" long. anyone fish one of these? likes or dislikes? modifications? techniques?

That's pretty small at less than 4" long. I'd be a good bit leery about fishing topwaters that are light, they get blown out of the way far too easily for my likes. The hook-up rates on the Giant Jackpot for ex.!

Personally I like the small creepers way more so than the larger versions. Very slow paced bait. Use it fishing alone or as the back of the boat bait.

Caught several big fish on the Le beoef. Great after dark on flat water. If you ever want to get rid of it I would sure love to have it.
