| Anyone know an easy way to get the shaft to slide easier when puting it in our taking it out of the water. Just had back surgery and it was tough before it will probably be too much for me know. Any ideas or suggestions will help to put me back on the water.......Thanks loldennis |

| Are you talking a PD or AP? If so, I would think some dry silicone spray would be just the ticket. |

Location: St. Louis, MO., Marco Is., FL, Nestor Falls, ON | You may want to consider getting a Minnkota Genesis. I have a bad back and I can tell you the self deploying feature has added hours each day to my fishing time. I don't get as tired as I used to. Plus you can adjust the depth of your trolling motor with the touch of a button. Great for when you get in the rocks. It's a little pricey, but it's cheap when you consider how much better it makes your fishing experience. |

Location: Lafayette, IN | Armor All. Just wipe in down regularly with Armor All. I've had 3 of them and used Armor All before I even noticed Minnkota recomends it in one of my owner's manuals. Should help a bunch. |

Location: Woodstock, IL | If you can swing it, get the Genesis. I put one on my new rig and love it. I just push a button and walk away - it does the rest (and quickly).
The $1500 was tough to give away, but I don't regret it now that I'm using it. |
