Heading up to Mantrap this week for the first time ever and hoping to get a little advice. Doesn't need to be honey holes, any advice is appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

Mid lake humps that are covered with weeds on the main part of the lake. I usually keep my boat in 13 feet of water and cast on top of the humps.

Have always had best luck on orange. Haven't made my way out there this year yet though.

I'm usually only up there early in the year. I was up there on halloween last year. Got one on a big red phantom on the shoreline breaks of the main lake. Had a tough time finding them that weekend, but typically see a bunch early in the year all over the lake. It's an awesome lake to fish.
