Location: Auburn Indiana | Due to a crazy summer, and a changing of jobs, my fishing partner and i had to cancel our annual trip to the V. I'm depressed about not seeing her this year.... But we are hopping to get over her by making a quick burn trip to the north woods. We decided to make a three day trip to fish the thousand island area. Sep. 25-27th I guess because we want the challenge. I here its not a numbers game but big fish opportunity. Kinda like the V. Any help would be great! colors?, blades? , rubber?,casting?, trolling? Just a place to start in the right direction would be much appreciated.
thanks in advance. |

| Brookville is closer, bigger and probably has more fish but, U.P. Autumn colors now can't be beat. |

Location: Wakefield, MI | I think he's talking about Thousand Island in the U.P. Since he mentioned staying in land o lakes.
Unfortunately I haven't fished there in probably 20 years so I'm not able to help. |
