Heading to a meeting north of Green Bay this upcoming Friday. Toying with idea of trying to find a guide to fish Green Bay Sat. and/or Sunday. Never fished it before. Would like to cast, or is trolling necessary? Any ideas?

I would recommend Chris Bartsch with www.inthebagguideservice.com and he just posted on facebook that he has the 25th available.

Ryan Grant is also a great guide and he has been boating some really nice fish.

Ryan Grant is the man! You won't fish with a better person than Ryan. 920 412 2020

Most of the guides (Jolly, Alexander, Nolan Koepp, Drew Grissman, Ryan Grant) are on fish right now. The bite has been really good the last week plus. Mostly trolling as the fish are scattered and it's just more efficient. I prefer casting too, but trolling is probably the way to go right now.

Get a hold of Kevin Pischke to see if he has either of those dates open. He is on fish the fish right now and putting some big girls in the net. And you will learn a ton while having a blast doing it.

I would also agree that Ryan Grant is great on the Bay, I have fished with him quite a bit and he has put me on fish every time.

if you book a guide, make sure and ask if you are actually hiring HIM for the day or if he will pawn you off on one of his subs...there is at least one that will do that to you and not tell you til the day you show up...and then the sub won't let you cast and makes you troll all day...

You can't go wrong with Ryan Grant or Chris Bartsch. Both are on fish right now.

Brett Jolly, Chris Bartsch, Ryan Grant, and Stephen Boulden are my recommendations. Though I'm biased because I'm friends with each and know what's expected lol. They'll do what's necessary to catch and they make fishing fun.

We tried booking with Brett last Friday he was booked but he got us with one of his guys. This guy should of told us before we ever got in the boat that there are 4 - 5 ft waves and let us decide if we wanted to go. Instead he told us to put on our rain gear that we where probably going to get wet. What a day, the waves where killer and we where holding on for our lives, what a bad call on his part, he told us Brett's guys got sick by 9 and where off the lake, we made it to 12, what a disaster. Make sure you ask the guide whoever it is, how the lake is before you go.
