The George Whal tournament is September 24th on a bunch of metro lakes sign up on Www.twincitiesmuskieinc.com if you fish muskies in the metro this is a must do all proceeds go 100% to stocking it's a great one day event with a grat dinner afterwards at Thorne Bros

Good post, good tourney, good cause. All around goodness.
I'll be fishing it with a kid that I met and fished it with last year. He'll be competing again in the Junior Division. Last year he lost a mid 40's at the boat that would have put him at the top of the Junior Division and in the middle of the overall top 10 standings (It was a tough bite last year). Hoping he gets his redemption this season.
If you have a boat and would fish this event but don't have a partner don't be afraid to reach out and take a younger person fishing. It's a great opportunity to spread the musky fishing bug, increase awareness, and I promise you it feels great when you put them on fish and they hook up with one.

Online registration ends the 19th at midnight you can always register at Thorne Bros Blue Ribbon and Joes until Friday the 23rd again this is 100% put back into stocking the metro lakes

it is run by the same chapter but has a different tournament director, this one you need a copy of the morning paper in the
picture ( either minneapolis or st.paul) for verification. and 100% of proceeds go to stocking muskies

Congrats Todd. I was curious to see how tough the bite on Tonka was and it looks like it was very tough, not many fish and nothing big. Great job to those that caught fish.
