So I'm a huge fan of the 8" reef hawg... Every one is different. Today I took out a new one to start breaking it in. But it did something I've never seen it sank like a stone. I've never seen one do that. Wanted to see if some else has one that does that and how you have used it. Thanks in advance

Welcome to owning a Reef Hawg.... The good ones are awesome the others...not so much... If there is a way to tell without buying one I do not know what it is.... They have been this ways for years

I love the sinking ones. Work it erratically, using short, rapid hops with rod tip making the lure pop up, down, and sideways. Good lure on the rock breaks.

Mike is a good friend of mine, and a hell of an old school style muskie fisherman and lure builder. Looks at a computer like it will explode with a 50' blast radius at any minute.

Disclaimer:
I do fish Reef Hawgs, and have caught a ton of muskies on 'em, even a couple Wisco 50s back in the day. Yes, I do buy them; most of them anyway. No, Mike is not a sponsor of OFM.
