I will be heading up to the UP for my yearly Muskie trip and I didn't have much luck in past years fishing the paint river, or lake Emily. I even tried lac vieux desert with no luck other than a small pike. This year I was thinking about trying Chicagon. I know that it is a deep clear lake and I was planning on doing some trolling. I'm new to trolling all together so if you have suggestions on baits please let me know. I'm just looking for any tips that you could share about baits and times of day to fish.
Thanks!

I don't know much about Chicagon, but lake Emily has a very high density of small muskies. You could have multiple fish days on fish 30"-35".
LVD is also a great fishery for all species, with a chance for a big fish.
