After reading all the reports and emailing Jed Pearson (Webster DNR guru), it sounds like Webster is really struggling with a real musky population decline.
Would like to check things out for a day in late September....is it worth it?
Guess I could always "default" to bass fishing if it is that bad......
Thanks for any info!

Webster still produces fish id say it's worth it, but I wouldn't limit my options to just Webster for Indiana muskies lots of other lakes around Webster that have great fishing.

Webster can be challenging, it gets lots of pressure and the weed/clarity problems this year aren't helping.
That being said, it's always worth a stop. Some nice fish in there.

Alumacraft is also correct, don't limit yourself to just Webster, there are nice fish being caught on a lot of the surrounding lakes too. Webster giving you a hard time? Drive the 10 Minutes to Barbee or Tippy, The No wake areas are great when the recreational boating season is in full swing.

LMK when you are heading to Webster, I'll LYK what's going on.

Tippecanoe Lake had 75-76 degree surface temps yesterday, and about a zillion boaters (which should be nearly done now that Labor Day 2016 is history). I would guess Webster temps to be similar.
