We are taking off Friday morning for Indiana Beach with the kids, staying until Monday night.
Too bad there are no Muskies in lake Schafer:(
Oh well, the boat will be used to drag two kids on a tube all weekend.

I will hopefully getting engaged, if she says yes. How can I loose. Her parents own a resort on the Flambeau Chain, and she lets me fish as much as I want. (right now). I will be trying some night fishing on Pewaukee as well.
Good Lungen,
Joel

Ralphie you know what river feeds lake Schafer right? Its a long cruise from Tippe but at some point some of those pigs are going to find there way to Schafer.

I'm heading to the cities on the 4th for a layover and possibly a few hours on a metro lake before we head to Vermilion on the 5th for a week. Can't wait! Counting the minutes.

I will be hitting Le Bowl Friday and Saturday early until boat traffic gets to bad or the water temps get to high.

Anybody hitting the Fox Chain - I will be in a Black/white Crestliner 1750 Fishawk with a 90 Honda. If you see me stop by and lets compare notes.

Probably going to have my Match against tomyv on Saturday.

Tomyv,

Good lick with the little Lady Tuffy1. Everyone else have a safe Holiday and enjoy. My wife shut the shop down for the 4th and said " you are going fishing like it or not" So upon the Boss's instructions I am going to go fishing for the very first time this year. The old Monitor is sea worthy and ready to go so on the fourth I will trailer her across the dam ( live at Pymatuning Lake) and silently slip her off the trailer into the water with a big smile on my face and hope the muskies are laying in wait for me. You can only guess what I am using for colors.
Many Releases everyone,

I will cut out of work on the 3rd to fish because I'll be walkin' down main street with my kids passing out candy IN a Fourth of July Parade on Friday! I've seen a lot of parades but have never been in one, this will be new to me.

Hey Tomyv,
I live just off the lake as I don't have beach front property but walk five minutes and I'm there. You know the two islands by the dam/ ( little and big Ackerman islands) The other people who live on our private drive dock up at Ackerman bay.I walk down the driveway to the RR bed and less than a hundred yards and I am there. Give me a call next time you are coming up and we can connect if you want.
I am going to start taking the time this year to fish a bit.

Driving to Lac Seul. Then after arriving going to pound some serious walleye and northern. Maybe even come across the rare muskie if I am really really lucky.

Staying home and enjoying a cocktail on the deck while listening to the fireworks from the various towns around me.

Heading up to Vilas County next Tuesday, so I think I can handle not wetting the boat this weekend on crowded S. WI/N. IL waters.

Hopefully I will be boating 50 incher after 50 incher on this fine 4th of July weekend.

That's MY plan anyway ... the fish will probably have other plans.

I will be celebrating my 6th year anniversary with my wife. Now..go figure this one out... I get married on INDEPENDENCE DAY, and what is it that I Lost?!!

So...dinner it will be in the early afternoon with Brother and Sister in law in Hackensack area...maybe see some fireworks (but only the kind in the sky) No bottle rockets at the cabin though...

Will be out on the water a while that day with the wife or brother, and maybe a late night outing for a big gal....who knows...

Going to be dodging tourists like I was dodging the deer tonite!!!! Seriously though, going to go out and fish the small out of the way waters that I have been fishing for the last 15 years around my home base of Tomahawk.
