| I'll be heading up to LVD for my first time this October 1-4. My dad and I are heading up there. He has fished the lake before. They used to take a yearly trip there but he hasn't been in 15+ years. Anyone have any recommendations as to what the musky behavior is around that time and maybe anything that's changed with that lake in the last 15 years. I'm looking forward to the trip.
Thanks |

| Big lake with big fish. It is a very weedy lake though. At the time you go they may be dieing off which would help. Don't be afraid to go big. Have had luck on black and firetiger color baits. The spots I've had the best luck is behind duck island, between draper island and desolation point and the rock bar. |

Location: Waukesha & Land O Lakes, WI | Even with water levels up, you'll still see weed lines fairly well. I've always done well with brown/walleye colored baits down by the river mouth.

| Any color is good on the lac as long as it's black. |
