| Saw a prototype bass rod yesterday and it was amazingly light and had awesome action. Was told pure fishing bought the rights of the resisin St Croix was using for their legend elite series and can't use it anymore. The bass rod was feather light and looked very cool with a carbon fiber look. Any word on a Musky rod coming out? |

Location: Smith Creek | Pure Fishing will be sorry when 3M sells Shimano exclusivity to the new and improved "Powerlux PLUS Nano Resin" and makes Pure Fishing's regular "Powerlux" obsolete.
And 3M will. That's what they do. That's why St. Croix doesn't use their resin anymore. |

Location: mercer wi | I remember talking to steve at St croix when he was store manager, he told me that 3m ( who made original resin reinforcementioned introduced on the legand tournament line ), want to put in new contract that they could use stcroix trademark on other products that weren't stcroix products. So stcroix found a new company that made a resin. That when the frs came out. |
