I bought two at different times and have one left over
This Cable is used to connect an EVINRUDE outboard motor to an existing NMEA2000 network.
This will enable engine data to be displayed on your plotter:
Temperature, charge voltage, pressures, levels, trim, RPM, etc
NMEA2000 instruments can use engine data such as speed, fuel flow and tank levels to calculate range etc.
