Location: mercer wi | I like vmc better then other brands. They hold a point better and are more consistent in how they are made. If your store doesn't have them in stock, could always ask if they could order you a box or 2. I live near musky shop so they always have them. Order from musky shop online too. |

Location: Freedom, WI | Use Eagle Claw 774 5/0 as it is the same size as 6/0 other brands. They are 4x strong but thinner and made in the USA. Used to use the others but the guys fishing the Wisconsin river in the rocks proved to me how they hold a point better. |

| I recently was looking for a 6/0-8/0 round bend VMC like we use on the Bondy Bait. I want it for our magnum Royal Orba coming out. I was told the one we use (9650BZ) only goes to 5/0. |
